Tidbits From Napolean Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" Timeless Book

Like most of you, I have read many books. Some good, some not so good. One of the best that I have read is "Think and Grow Rich," written by Napolean Hill. Although it was written in 1937, many of the tenets taught in the book are as valid today as when it was written. This book has made a big difference in my life. So much so, that I took notes as I was reading the book and offer some of the great tidbits that I gleaned from the book. Here they are. Enjoy!!

*Adopt a definite purpose.

*Desire is an important concept.

*When riches begin to come, they come so quickly, in such great abundance, that one wonders where they have been hiding all of those lean years.

*Success comes to those who become "Success Conscious."

*Failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become "Failure Conscious."

*Determination is key.

*Desire needs to be definite. Knowing what one wants in extremely important.

*Maintain a state of mind of burning desire to win, which is the key to success.

*Success requires no apologies, and failure permits no alibis.

*Every failure brings with it the seed of an equivalent success.

*No one is every defeated until defeat is accepted as a reality.

*No one is ready for a thing, until he believes he can acquire it. The state of mind MUST be BELIEF, not just mere wish or hope.

*You can never have riches in great quantities, UNLESS you can work yourself into a white heat desire for money, and more importantly, actually believe you will possess it.
